Number of Children with Child Protection Plans by Type

The Number of Children with Plans by type including, Children in Need, Child Protection Plans and Children Looked After. A Contact is initial enquiry by a partner agency, individual or organisation to Children's Social Care where there are concerns for the Safeguarding or Welfare of a Child or Children. A referral is a contact which has met the Safeguarding threshold of the Authority and has been referred to Children's Social Care requesting a service for Child/Children not currently in receipt of services from the Local Authority.
