Todmorden Ward

The Todmorden ward dataset includes the ward map; demographic profile; Public Health England local health report; Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) factsheet; Public health data; elections data and maps; anti-poverty data; and other ward data. Todmorden ward is at the west end of Calderdale, and covers an extensive upland area cut by narrow river valleys. Todmorden town centre is located at the junction of three valley routes with developments extending north-west along Burnley Road to Lydgate, Cornholme and Portsmouth, and south along the Rochdale Road to Shade and Walsden. There are also scattered communities in the countryside. Industry is mainly in the valleys. The railway runs through Todmorden, and both the railway and bus stations are close to the town centre. New ward information 2026: There will be local (district) elections on 7 th May 2026 for new wards following a Local Government Boundary Commission review . The information on this ward data page is based on ward boundaries that predate these elections. The Office for National Statistics is due to publish 2026 ward boundary information in June / July 2026.
