Brownfield Land Register

In 2017, the Secretary of State introduced the requirement for all local planning authorities in England to prepare, maintain and publish registers of previously developed land within their area that they consider appropriate for residential development (brownfield land registers). City of York Council's register is split in two parts. __Part 1__ comprises all brownfield sites appropriate for residential development which includes sites: • with extant full planning permission, • with outline planning permission, • with permission in principle and • without planning permission. __Part 2__ those sites which would be suitable for a grant of permission in principle for residential development. *Please note that the data published within this dataset is a live API link to CYC's GIS server. Any changes made to the master copy of the data will be immediately reflected in the resources of this dataset.The date shown in the "Last Updated" field of each GIS resource reflects when the data was first published.
