Thank you for your request for information about the following: __Request__ ‘How many of the NHS Pensioners identified as due to receive their McCloud Remedy choices letter by 1 July 2025 have actually been processed in order for them to have received their letters on or before 1 July 2025?’ The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 7 July 2025. We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). __Our response__ __Question 1 - How many of the NHS Pensioners identified as due to receive their McCloud Remedy choices letter by 1 July 2025 have actually been processed in order for them to have received their letters on or before 1 July 2025?__ A total of 1,328 McCloud RSS have been sent as of 2 July 2025. The volumes of members in the below two cohorts who have been sent an RSS is as follows: Retired by 1 October 2023 who were formerly unprotected and only legacy benefits in payment: 999 have been sent an RSS. Retired by 1 October 2023 who were formerly taper protected and only legacy benefits in payment: 329 have been sent an RSS. These figures are taken from the McCloud RSS dashboard, which is based on agreed criteria for sorting McCloud Immediate Choice members into cohorts.
