Thank you for your request for information about the following: ##Request Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide the following information held by your organisation in relation to the Digital Dictation, Speech Recognition & Outsourced Transcription Services 2 framework. Confirmation of whether the framework is currently open or closed to the appointment of new suppliers. Confirmation of whether the framework allows for new suppliers to be appointed during its term, and if so, under what mechanism (for example reopening, refresh, or a dynamic process). Confirmation of whether mini-competitions or call-off competitions under the framework are restricted to suppliers appointed to the framework, or whether non-framework suppliers may participate. Copies of any policy documents, framework rules, or guidance held that describe supplier onboarding, refresh, or competition rules for this framework. The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 13 January 2026. We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). ##Our response I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHSBSA. ##Advice and Assistance Having reviewed your request, I believe that it is possible that other NHS organisations may hold some or all of the information you require. NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) is a private company created by a joint venture between Sopra Steria Limited and the Department of Health and Social Care supporting NHS organisations. As a private company, they are not listed as a public authority within the FOI.
