We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). ##Our response Please be advised that the NHSBSA has an in-house loss and fraud prevention team and no contracts are in place with other organisations. As a result, the answers below apply solely to the internal audit part of your request. __Question 1 - Who is your current internal audit and counter fraud provider?__ We currently have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government Internal Audit Agency for the provision of our internal audit. __Question 2 - When did the internal audit and counter fraud contract commence?__ The MOU commenced 19 April 2023. __Question 3 - When does/did the initial period of the contract end?__ 18 April 2027. __Question 4 - Is there an extension period for the contract and if so, when does this end?__ An extension period is not applicable. __Question 5 - Please provide a copy of the internal audit and counter fraud contract (redacted if required)?__ We do not have a formal contract in place. __Question 6 - What is the annual fee for the internal audit and counter fraud contract exclusive of VAT? How much have you been invoiced for the 2025-26 financial year exclusive of VAT?__ The annual fee is £310,709.00 excluding VAT. __Question 7 - What is the day rate for the internal audit and counter fraud contract exclusive of VAT?__ I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHSBSA.
