Thank you for your request for information about the following: ##Request _Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information._ _For the most recent financial year available, and for the equivalent year in 2019/20, please provide:_ _1. The total number of nurses employed by the NHS in England (headcount or full-time equivalent – please specify which is used)._ _2. The number of those nurses with an annual gross salary above the higher-rate income tax threshold (£50,270) applicable in that year._ _3.
