#Request _How many incorrect retirement benefits calculations, resulting in a decrease in the initial payment, were made between 1/7/2021 and 31/7/2022 as a direct result of inaccurate or late information received from East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.)_ _What was the longest, shortest and average time in days before the pensioner was informed of the error and informed of a substitute award?_ _What was the highest, lowest and average amount the award was changed ,as a percentage of total pension?_ _If a year will result in too many working hours required to find this information please calculate from 1/8/2021-31/1/2022._ ##Response Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you’ve requested is not held by the NHS Business Services Authority. Awards can be revised for numerous reasons, a revised award doesn’t always mean an employer has submitted revised information. Awards can be revised following notification of a change in pay or service but this doesn’t mean that the initial information provided was inaccurate or late. For example, in the event of multiple part time posts, an employer could submit a change that results in a revised award. For members retiring from active service, it is standard for awards to be calculated using estimated figures provided by the employer because final pay figures won’t be known if a member is still in service.
