##Request Please confirm how many GP members have retired with a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 who have had a lifetime allowance charge on their pension benefits. Please also confirm how many GP members who have retired with a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 are above 100% of the standard lifetime allowance limit. The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 15 April 2024. We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000. ##Our response I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested. ###Question 1 There are 8 GPs who have a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 who have had an LTA charge on their benefits. ###Question 2 There are 782 GPs who have a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 who are over 100% of their LTA allowance. ###Caveats/Comments GPs include all members with practitioner service (medical, dental or ophthalmic).
