##Request Please confirm how many GP members have retired with a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 who have had a lifetime allowance charge on their pension benefits. Please also confirm how many GP members who have retired with a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 are above 100% of the standard lifetime allowance limit. We have handled your request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000. ##Our response I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested. ###Question 1 There are 8 GPs who have a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 who have had an LTA charge on their benefits. ###Question 2 There are 782 GPs who have a payable date on or after 06/04/2023 who are over 100% of their LTA allowance. ###Caveats/Comments GPs include all members with practitioner service (medical, dental or ophthalmic).
