Information is held relating to: Pre Planning Applications, Formal Planning Applications, Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) All within the Consultation Zones for Major Hazards Sites and Major Accident Hazard Pipelines These are submitted by Local Authorities, Developers and Agents and the dataset used to track the progress of these applications. These records include: Case description, outlining brief details of the Planning Application, Name of the Local Authority dealing with the Planning Application, Planning Authority/Developer/Agent Reference Number, Date the case was received into HSE, Date of the HSE response sent to the Local Authority. The dataset contains some commercially and occasionally politically sensitive data. However HSE is a statutory consultee in the planning process and in most cases, the planning applications and consultee comments are publically available on most of the Local Authority websites. The information in the dataset covers Great Britain and dates back to the year 2000.
