Geological disturbances which may have been affected by coal mining

The dataset details types of geological disturbances which may have been affected by coal mining. It shows the best plot position for each geological fault, fissure and break line based on information held by the Coal Authority or supplied by its predecessors. NOTE: Faults exist due to natural geological activities. NOTE: Fissures & Breaklines are types of geological disturbance which are lines of weakness at the surface which may have been affected by coal mining. In November 2024, the Coal Authority changed its name to the Mining Remediation Authority to better reflect its mission and continued commitment to environmental sustainability, safety, and community support.
