Quarterly statistics with counts and rates for Attendance Allowance claimants by district, county, ward and LSOA. Attendance Allowance is payable to people over the age of 65 who are so severely disabled, physically or mentally, that they need a great deal of help with personal care or supervision. You may get Attendance Allowance if: you have a physical or mental disability and your disability is severe enough for you to need help caring for yourself you are aged 65 or over when you claim. Attendance Allowance is not means tested so claims are not affected by whether claimants have high income or savings.
