Tree Preservation Orders Mid Suffolk

Polygon dataset representing trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) in Mid Suffolk District. The Council is empowered to make a TPO to protect, for the public's enjoyment, an individual tree, a group or area of trees or woodland from deliberate damage and destruction. This dataset has been used in searching the Land Charges Register and in answering CON29 questions in conveyancing. In addition it helps identify the suitability of land for development and ensures appropriate management of important tree stock. The data is created following site survey, plotted to OS MasterMap and cross referenced for accuracy against aerial photography.
