This dataset covers incidents attended by fire and rescue services (FRS) in England and Wales, excluding the Isles of Scilly, covering a total of 49 FRS. The data include incidents that not only relate to fires, but also responses to special services, false alarms, and the casualties, rescues and fatalities that relate to those incidents. Source: Communities and Local Government (CLG), Fire and Resilience Directorate (FRD) Publisher: Neighbourhood Statistics Geographies: Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA), Local Authority District (LAD), Government Office Region (GOR), National Geographic coverage: England and Wales Time coverage: 2001 to 2006 Type of data: Administrative data Notes: These figures will help users to identify areas most at risk from having a fire, being involved in a special service incident or being subject to some types of anti-social behaviour (e.g. malicious false alarms). Figures will also assist the targeting of urban renewal programmes and community safety initiatives.
