This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the English Channel Beam Trawl Survey (VIId and IVc), Qtr 3 (FSS: BTS7D); Station, catch, length (all species) and biological data (selected species) for each of the annual surveys covering the Southern North Sea and Eastern English Channel using research vessels and 4m beam trawl in support of EU data regulations and as part of an ICES funded research program. Additional aims include collection of benthic, litter, water temperature and salinity and acoustic data. Survey took place between 24/07/2000 and 07/08/2000 on Corystes Equipment used during this survey : - Beam Trawl 4m steel commercial 3/5 link mat flip up 75mm CE 40mm liner AFT - Benthic Sampling Gear Grabs 0.2 sq. m Day Grab - Benthic Sampling Gear Jennings 2m Beam Trawl Standard spec. Survey operations were undertaken on 162 stations 72 different species were caught on this survey
