Bioblitz survey taking place at Cawsand, Cornwall. Organised and run by the Marine Biological Association (MBA) in Plymouth, annual Bioblitz surveys take place in/around Plymouth (sites in Devon and Cornwall). These surveys aim to record as many species as possible as being present within a set survey area over 24-hours. Data was collected by volunteers, taxonomic experts and professional scientists over two days (24 hours). Species were identified in the field and verified afterwards by taxonomic experts and scientists at the Marine Biological Association (MBA). The first record of each species found to be present within the survey area was recorded, along with the verifier. Some surveys include counts/abundance information and extra information associated with the record.
