This dataset contains the individual responses to a survey conducted by West Yorkshire Combined Authority which sought to understand how people visiting the opening stages of the Tour de France in Yorkshire on the weekend of 5-6 July 2014 made their travel choices, including the sources of information they consulted, and what level of disruption they experienced on the roads and on public transport. The feedback survey took the form of an online survey and was designed by the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds. The survey went live on 24 July 2014 and was open for 19 days, closing on 11 August 2014 and attracting a total of 1,881 respondents. Survey questions Many of the survey questions were multiple choice and had several parts – the questions are described in 2 separate data files. Please note, this is a one-off dataset and will not be updated.
