In order to better understand the distribution of sublittoral mussel resource in the main channel of the Taw-Torridge estuary, north Devon. Grab surveys were undertaken on 23rd October 2020. These surveys included a maximum of three grab samples, taken with a 10 kg van Veen grab, at each of 38 sampling stations positioned throughout the main channel of the estuary between approximately Crow Point to Coolstone and the estuary mouth. Surveys were conducted by an IFCA officer on board a local fishing vessel. Data include georeferenced grab success and failure data, count of mussel in each grab and mussel length data for all mussels observed.
