Locally Listed Buildings

Buildings which, whilst not meeting the national criteria for listing, are of considerable local historic, architectural or other special character interest. These are known as locally listed buildings and have formal recognition in the planning system. These buildings or groups of buildings are identified and designated by the Council to ensure that all interested parties are aware of their local importance and merit.
