Flood Risk Activity Exemptions

A flood risk exemption is for work on or near a main river or sea defence that is exempt from needing an environmental permit. You can search for matching registrations by holder name, reference number or location of a registered site. Registrations are based upon the information provided by the customer. Some basic level validation is undertaken as part of the screening process to check for particularly onerous data (e.g. if the grid reference submitted is nowhere near a water feature).
