This dataset contains Python scripts used to reformat geological fracture pattern data derived from FracPaQ to make it readable for open-source Discrete Fracture Network modelling software (dfnWorks). FracPaQ is a widely used open-source tool for the analysis of geological fracture patterns but does not include modelling of fracture-hosted fluid flow in 3D. dfnWorks is an open-source tool to do just this, and this code helps to export fracture pattern data from FracPaQ directly into dfnWorks for fluid flow modelling. The script has been written by the principal investigator at Leeds for a short NERC Global Partnership Seedcorn project, joint with Manchester and Università della Basilicata (Potenza, Italy)
