Based on the Thurrock Landfill Layer derived from the Environment Agency Eastern region dataset this polygon layer is used for building/planning constraints when building are proposed near landfill sites. It's main purpose is to warn of the possibility of lateral methane/landfill gas migration at locations outside the landfill but within the 250 metre buffer region. Upon accessing this Licensed Data you will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the Public Sector End User Licence – INSPIRE
