Neighbourhood Action Panels (NAPs) captured as regions using Ordnance Survey BoundaryLine (Ward and Parish boundaries). NAPs are multi-agency problem solving groups, who bring together representatives from statutory agencies (such as Borough Council, Parish Council, Police) and local community groups, Councillors, community leaders, neighbourhood watch and residents associations to address local crime, anti-social behaviour and quality of life issues. NAPs follow the same boundaries as Colchester Borough Council Local Community Zones. Attribution includes NAP name, contact, e-mail and webpage. The data is maintained by the Community Initiatives Officer. This dataset could be used to gain a better understanding of which areas in Colchester are covered by which Neighbourhood Action Panels.
