The inshore waters around South Stack breeding seabird colony are the site of a tidal stream power development. Impacts on biodiversity are possible and baseline monitoring has taken place against which to compare data in the future. These data focus on Guillemot and Razorbill which hunt fish by diving. We estimate current colony size and levels of breeding productivity, along with describing historical patterns of abundance change at South Stack and nearby colonies.
