This marine geophysical survey 1993/3 (M26/2) took place from September to October 1993 in the Skagerrak, Faeroe/Shetland Channel, Spitsbergen Bank, Barrent Sea areas, aboard German research vessel MV Meteor. The British Geological Survey (BGS) provided the Deep Tow Boomer to acquire high resolution seismic profiling around the Storegga Slide as part of their contribution to the Gas and Water Seepage on the Continental Margin (SEEP) scientific programme.
