Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) are legal documents drafted and made by the council, usually under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. They regulate the use of highways for movement and parking and also off street parking areas within the borough by drivers of vehicles and/or pedestrians. Since 2014, the council has introduced two consolidated TMOs for parking across the borough. This TMO applies to free parking places, loading places & waiting, loading & stopping restrictions. As well as the parent TMO, we include all the relevant amendments that have followed. Mapped details of these orders can be seen on Barnet TraffWeb. The Barnet (Charged-For Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2014 is published here Other Miscellaneous/Experimental orders can be found here
