GIS spatial data for Registered Battlefields, part of the National Heritage List for England. Registered Battlefields are represented by a polygon defining the extent of the protected area. Historic England's Register of Historic Battlefields identifies almost fifty English battlefields. Its purpose is to offer them protection and to promote a better understanding of their significance and public enjoyment. Data updated as required.
