Habitat point records from 1988 MNCR Shetland littoral and sublittoral survey

This survey was carried out to fill gaps in the survey coverage of the earlier OPRU/MNCR surveys of Shetland, Foula and Fair Isle (Hiscock 1986; Howson 1987). 6 littoral sites, 31 sublittoral dive sites and 14 sublittoral dredging sites were surveyed. These sites were located mainly around Unst and Fetlar and west of Scalloway with an exposed littoral site on the west mainland. Shallow peat sediments in the Vadills and Marlee loch were also surveyed. A full survey report has not been produced. Records currently considered sensitive have been removed from this dataset.
