Voluntary Adoption Survey

The aim of the voluntary quarterly adoption survey is to collect data which will add to and complement the data currently collected through the annual data collection. This data will be used to monitor the impact of the adoption reform programme. The survey collects child level information on the characteristics and timescales of those children that are at particular stages in the adoption process within the specified quarter. The survey also requested a small amount of aggregate-level information on prospective adopters.
