This dataset comprises results from field-scale experiments conducted under controlled mesocosm conditions. The study was designed to investigate the leaching behaviour of mine tailings treated with 0.5 M citric acid under different voltage gradients. The dataset includes metal concentrations in the treated tailings following the experimental period. The porphyry copper (Cu) tailings used in this study were sourced from Tailings Storage Facility 1 (TSF1) at the Philex Padcal Mine (Benguet, Philippines). A one cube meter intermediate bulk container (IBC) was used as the experimental reactor. Two mesocosm experiments were conducted: Mesocosm 1 (M1), operated at an applied voltage of 15 V, and Mesocosm 2 (M2), operated at 30 V. All other experimental conditions were kept identical.
