Local Lists of Historic Buildings recognise locally distinctive historic or architecturally significant buildings and structures. Typically these lists identify buildings and structures that are of local importance yet without another form of national historic environment designation, such as a Listed Building of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council and Warrington Borough Council maintain Local Lists as Supplementary Planning Documents which are a material consideration in the determination of planning applications.
