Part of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy this dataset shows Areas that Could Become of Particular Importance to Biodiversity. They are where the responsible authority and local partners propose that effort should be concentrated to restore habitat, to achieve the most for biodiversity and the wider environment. This dataset identifies and maps locations within the strategy area that could become of particular importance for biodiversity or where biodiversity recovery or enhancement could contribute significantly to other environmental benefits. These areas are proposed based on the alignment of local biodiversity priorities and potential measures outlined in the LNRS.
