Plankton analysis data from a survey carried out in the Irish Sea between 19th April to 11th May 1994. Aims of the surveys included, - To survey plankton populations and hydrographic structure from the Malin Shelf to the North Channel for evidence of transport of copepods into the Irish Sea. - To sample fish eggs and larvae. This data consists of the numbers of ichthyoplankton and zooplankton collected by high speed towed net (HSTN), both coarse and fine mesh, and by Longhurst Hardy Plankton Recorder (LHPR), plus associated positional data and volumes filtered.
