Sample codes and depths alongside taxon determinations and assignments to chronostratigraphic units for Ammonoidea and other macrofossil specimens of the Hettangian to Sinemurian sections, of the Prees 2C borehole (SOBI [Single Onshore Borehole Index] number = SJ53SE/53). Photographic images of the specimens, contained in ten albums organised according to stratigraphic position, are also included. This compilation is for specimens obtained during initial core processing operations that took place at the British Geological Survey Keyworth Core Store in 2020 and 2021. Depths in the data table given are in metres below corrected core depth to the top of the sample bearing the fossil. Typical sample thickness is < or = 2 cm. This data file accompanies Page, K. N., Oates, M. J. Simms, M. J., Edmunds, M. and Hounslow, M.W. (2026) Chapter 2; Hettangian-Sinemurian Correlation Chart. In: Cope J. W. C. and Wakefield, M. I. (Eds). A Correlation of Jurassic Rocks of Britain, Ireland and their contiguous offshore areas. Geological Society of London, Special Report 29.
