These tables provide data regarding learner ethnicity, gender, learning difficulties or disabilities, and age. Further Education and Skills includes learners who are studying on a course at a Further Education college, learners studying courses within their local community, employees undertaking an Apprenticeship, and employees undertaking other qualifications in the workplace. October 2013: Figures for Sector Subject Area were revised so that Apprenticeship frameworks are allocated to Sector Subject Areas on a consistent basis for the entire time series, as per the Further Education & Skills Statistical First Release supplementary tables.
